![]() ![]() PRODUCT DOESN'T DO WHAT THEY CLAIM.Use ZSOFT UNINSTALLER or REGSHOT (BOTH FREE)Does this program scan the en tire registry? NO. ![]() ![]() ![]() This program does it when you want although it does take rather a long time to scan and analyze the state of your machine at any one time. This is similar to the Windows rollback utility although that takes up a lot of space on your hard drive and only makes rollback points at certain intervals. The program then saves these changes and if you decide to uninstall the application, it can reverse the changes to the previous state. The program displays any changes that have been made in a tree view, highlighting all registry values and/or files that have been added, changed or deleted. It then takes an additional snapshot after the installation has completed and performs an automatic comparison of the two. That's why you may find it useful to use Total Uninstall before you install new software as it creates a snapshot of your system prior to installing a new application. Some unscrupulous developers make sure that their programs are as hard to remove as possible while other things like malware get totally rooted in your system and Windows uninstaller can do little to help. There's simply nothing more annoying than programs that refuse to uninstall when you ask them to. So it looks like uninstalling Docker Desktop is leaving at least that leftover behind.Uninstall software completely without leaving a trace bak extension and from then docker commands work properly without sudo What was happening that despite uninstalling docker-desktop completely and docker-ce and then reinstalling from scratch I kept getting this error. Is the docker daemon running?ĭespite the user having docker group membership and permissions. Then reinstalling docker engine (ce) alone as I want to run docker instance on host and separately on qemu/virt and being able to run hello-world I was getting this errorĬannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///home/christian/.docker/desktop/docker.sock. Refreshing installation of Docker desktop and docker-ce after testing installation of Docker DesktopĪfter uninstalling docker desktop from ubuntu 22.04 and docker-ce (removing everything) ![]()
